A new Islamic EdTech platform, focused on serving madrasas and maktabs, has been launched, specialising in Qur’an memorisation and student development. Unlike general-purpose school management tools, ilmify.app was developed in consultation with Ulama and Muftis to address the specific needs of Islamic institutions.

The platform offers tools for Hifdh tracking, Tarbiyah monitoring, and Salah discipline, combining tradition and technology to support madrasas worldwide. For decades, these institutions have relied on paper records, handwritten notes, and informal methods to monitor memorisation progress, revisions, and spiritual development. According to ilmify’s founders, this has made it difficult to systematically track students’ Qur’an memorisation alongside Salah and Tarbiyah.

“There has never been proper Hifdh tracking software available in the market that caters specifically to Qur’an memorisation, Salah discipline, and Tarbiyah development. ilmify.app was developed under the guidance of qualified Ulama and Muftis to ensure it remains true to Islamic principles while solving real operational challenges,” said Mohammed Aadil, CEO of ilmify.

Madrasas have long carried forward the Prophetic tradition of teaching the Qur’an. By digitising memorisation progress, Tarbiyah, and Salah discipline, ilmify.app aims to help these institutions manage student growth in a more structured and data-driven way.

The platform centres around three core areas of Islamic education: Hifdh Tracking – Tools to manage daily lessons (Sabak), revisions (Sabqi), and long-term retention (Manzil), allowing institutions to maintain accuracy and discipline in memorisation. Tarbiyah Tracking – Monitoring of manners, discipline, and character to support holistic development. Salah Tracking – Features that encourage and record consistent prayer habits.

“Educators face real frustration managing Hifdh progress manually. Our goal is to empower madaris to combine tradition with technology, ensuring students excel in both spiritual and academic growth,” said CTO Abdur Rahman, who added that his own experience with madrasas shaped the platform’s design.

The founders say that while the Islamic EdTech space includes platforms that focus on memorisation or tajweed, most address only one aspect. ilmify takes a broader approach by integrating memorisation management, character development, and Salah discipline into a single system. This unified model means administrators, teachers, and parents do not have to rely on multiple apps or disconnected tools.

Instead, ilmify.app offers a consolidated platform that reflects both the operational and spiritual priorities of madrasas.
