Omar was born into a family of Pakistani family in London, England on April 17.

Personal Life and Career

In 2006, a friend told him he had a good singing voice and he began a career in R&B and Soul music, releasing a hit debut album and signing with a record label that launched the careers of many British Asian artists.

In 2010, he left the music industry to become an Islamic nasheed artist, releasing his first nasheed dedicated to Allah in 2011 and signing with record label Safar Media and PR company 1st Witness. He has appeared in several dramas and web series, and released several nasheed albums, winning awards and being nominated for others. He also hosted a TV series and appeared on several radio and TV shows, and in 2017, had two tracks featured on a film soundtrack. In 2019, he launched his own podcast, "Omar Esa and Friends Podcast."
